Sometimes I make a plan and it gets CRAZY. Sometimes I over book, over plan, and a bit of my sanity dies as I muddle through the chaos. I recently stumbled across a verse in 1 Corinthians..jpg)
1 Corinthians 14:33a
“God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
It’s one of those verses that didn’t grab me immediately, but overtime it spoke wisdom into my heart. When does confusion occur? When we don’t have control or when we feel out of control. So, my take away from this verse is that when I am not at peace or when things feel confusing – I’m probably trying to take control of something that is really God’s responsibility. He will do it in His time, not mine. He will do it His way, not mine. I just need to be open in the moment to serve Him or the situation when He calls me. I can’t respond to his calling when I’m confused & forcing things to happen my way, but I can when I’m at peace.
